Charging Infrastructure for Long-Haul Trucks

In a recent Triathlon study several challenges related to the upscaling of charging infrastructure for electric long-haul trucks have been identified. Actors from different industries were involved in the study and gave their view on what future solutions might be.

The three major challenges that were highlighted in the study are uncertainties regarding which technology will be the standard, barriers for adopting current business and the investment dilemma. These challenges are further presented in this newsletter.

Additionally, the newsletter includes an interview with an electric road system actor giving his view on inductive charging and what role inductive electric roads will play in the future charging infrastructure.
